Zezé Di Camargo
The writer of “É o Amor” and of more than one hundred recorded songs, founder of ZC Edições.
Born in Pirenópolis (Goiás) in 1962, Zezé Di Camargo started singing as a child and, in the late 1970s, moved to São Paulo to pursue a career. Before becoming one of the best-known voices in the country, he was a songwriter sought after by the biggest names in sertanejo.
Writer of “É o Amor”, “Solidão” and “O Cheiro da Maçã”, among many others, he has more than one hundred songs recorded — by himself and by artists such as Maria Bethânia, Fafá de Belém, Reginaldo Rossi, Paula Fernandes and Gusttavo Lima. As a solo artist he keeps releasing projects like the album Rústico (2022).
